Fit: Regular workwear fit with a roomy chest, structured shoulders, and a slightly cropped, boxy body.
Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.
Measuring a Flat-Lay Jacket
Getting started
Zip or button the jacket, lay it completely flat on a level surface, and smooth it naturally without stretching the fabric.
Chest
Measure straight across the jacket 1″ below the armhole. This is the ½ chest measurement. Example: A 23″ flat chest measurement represents approximately 46″ around the garment.
Sleeve
Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight down the outside of the sleeve to the end of the cuff.
Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (HPS), where the shoulder meets the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.
Important: When comparing your measurements to the chart above, flat-lay jacket measurements are the best comparison. Do not compare your body chest circumference directly to the flat-lay chest number. For example, a 23” flat measurement equals approximately a 46” garment circumference.
